Calgary Tree Equity

Calgary Tree Equity seeks to address the unequal urban tree canopy in Calgary, recognizing how low-income and racialized neighbourhoods disproportionately experience lower tree canopy. Urban trees are an increasingly important component of more liveable, healthy, and resilient cities, and yet not everybody gets to equally enjoy the benefit of trees.
