Answer

A node is a volunteer-led group that takes action. Quite simply, it’s how we organize the people doing the work. As of January 2024, we have 3 Nodes:

  1. Central Node: combining Comms, Events and Fund Development, this node is where our Programs and Campaigns communicate and request support for their actions,
  2. Nature Node: focusing on Nature-based solutions in Calgary, and involved in our Forests for Calgary project,
  3. Research, Policy & Engagement Node: analysis of City climate actions and delivery of our municipal climate report card.
