Fellow Climate-Conscious Calgarians,

Everything starts with a conversation, or, as esteemed Canadian climate scientist Katherine Hayhoe says:"The most important thing each of us can do about climate change? Talk about it!"

Next week the Calgary Climate Hub launches the next instalment of our popular 'Community Climate Conversations' (CCCs), a city spanning initiative that brings a host of bonafide climate experts to Calgary communities so citizens can engage with them and each other about the climate topics that resonate with them the most, from Climate Science to Renewable Energy to Eco-Anxiety to you-name-it!

Our events in Sunnyside and Marda Loop have been solid successes in our books as we have had great attendance and responses from those communities. We want to keep this ball rolling so we have another one scheduled for this Thursday, August 29 in the East Village and are looking to do two per month in September and beyond.

For more details about how the CCCs work, important details for the event as well as an RSVP link click here. Please feel free to share far and wide. We're all in this together!

See you Thursday in the East Village!
