Who We Are

The Calgary Climate Hub is a volunteer-led, non-profit organization that unites a diverse group of Calgarians committed to working together to support meaningful local action on climate change. We represent a variety of communities, industries, cultures and causes. We believe that a broad and diverse range of Calgarians and organizations need to be engaged on the climate crisis to develop impactful solutions that fit our unique political and economic circumstances.

Vision: Calgary is a leader on climate action.

Mission: We educate and empower Calgarians to become active climate citizens.

Our main activities are:

  • Hosting Community Climate Conversations around the city (virtually during COVID-19) where people can interact with climate experts, talk to their neighbours about climate issues and get together to take action;
  • Hosting a webinar series called A Climate of Change, where top Canadian thinkers examine how we respond to the pandemic and what it will mean to build back better; and,
  • Advocating at the municipal level on issues such as Green Stimulus, transit, city planning, and energy generation through our ENMAX campaign. Check out our blog for updates.
