Calgary City Council's Community Development Committee will convene on September 14th to discuss the Housing Affordability Task Force's recommendations. As suburban sprawl is a significant driver of GHG emissions in Calgary, adopting the Housing Affordability Task Force's recommendations on a range of topics such as rezoning and increasing urban density will meaningfully support Calgary's Climate Strategy.
