When June 03, 2020 at 7:00pm 1 hr 30 mins

Join on us on June 3rd at 7 pm to get the insider's scoop on projects benefiting climate in Calgary.

You may have heard us say that municipalities hold the keys to climate action. As citizens of Calgary, we have the right and responsibility to work with City Council to ensure that our local representatives take climate change seriously. We want them to establish meaningful, measurable targets, put enough people to work on it, and provide enough money to make it happen.

How do we go about doing that? This workshop will show you. Our guests will add a climate lens to work being done at city hall and leave you with a new awareness for where to put your energy. The workshop will cover:

  • The structure of city hall,
  • Projects currently underway where you can make a difference, and
  • How to best go about influencing for climate success in Calgary
