Our Advocacy Campaign Kickoff brings together community organizers and community members interested in local climate action to launch our 2026 campaigns! These advocacy campaigns are community-led initiatives that seek to transform Calgary's social, cultural, and political landscape around climate action and justice. 

Our 2026 Advocacy Campaigns include:

• Calgary Tree Equity 
• Headwaters Protection and Restoration 
• Housing Affordability and Climate Resiliency 

In this session, prospective campaign volunteers will learn about Calgary's climate landscape, how to develop a campaign plan, and what building power in Calgary looks like. No previous organizing or campaign experience is necessary.
