Hub & Spokes is the Calgary Climate Hub's flagship active transportation program, bringing people together since 2021 to explore Calgary by bicycle, e-bike, and e-scooter while discovering practical climate solutions already taking shape in our city!

Through guided rides, scavenger hunts, community celebrations, workshops, and themed tours, participants experience Calgary from a different perspective, one that highlights safer streets, vibrant public spaces, local businesses, urban nature, renewable energy and innovative climate initiatives. Whether someone is an experienced cyclist or trying an e-bike or e-scooter for the first time, Hub & Spokes creates welcoming opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to get involved.

More than a series of rides, Hub & Spokes builds community. Each event encourages participants to connect with neighbours, support local organizations and businesses, learn from community leaders, and imagine what a healthier, more resilient Calgary could look like. Along the way, participants discover how active transportation can reduce emissions, improve public health, strengthen local economies, and make our city more enjoyable for everyone.
