Our era has been identified as the Anthropocene, a relatively short period in the natural history of the world in which human activity has had a decisive effect on nature and other species. This panel, hosted by Author-in-Residence Jaspreet Singh, brings together diverse perspectives on storytelling in an Anthropocene era. Speakers include Author Alice Major (Welcome to Anthropocene), Author Susan Gaines, appearing via video (Carbon Dreams), Naturalist Ben Gadd, Danish Global Studies Professor Derek Pardue, and Calgary Physics and Astronomy Professor Ann-Lise Norman.
