Becky Best-Bertwistle

Becky was born and raised on the Eastern Slopes of the Rocky mountains, in and close to Jasper National Park (territory of the Aseniwuche Winewak). She is passionate about conservation of the natural world and our non-human relatives. She is especially interested in the intersections of climate action and parks and public land management, species at risk, forestry management and Indigenous Conserved and Protected Areas.

Professionally she has worked in conservation, environment and politics and currently works as a strategist in Moh'kinstsis (Calgary). In her free time she can be found hiking, angling, skiing and making music across Southern Alberta.
