The Bowness Community Association is pleased to be partnering with the Calgary Climate Hub on its Forests for Calgary project by bringing a Tiny Miyawaki Forest to The Heart of Bowness green space at the community centre in 2024.

A tiny forest is a biodiverse assortment of native seedlings planted in a carefully prepared area roughly the size of a 10m diameter.

All are welcome. Snacks and refreshments provided. We warmly invite all community members in Bowness, Montgomery and Greenwood Village to join us for an evening where you can learn more about the project, meet the project team, and share your thoughts.
