Calgary Climate Week brings together communities, innovators, investors, and policymakers to celebrate and accelerate climate solutions. From climate tech tours and keynote presentations from Nicky Swan and Chris Turner to a wide range of community events, Calgary Climate Week transforms our city into a living laboratory for climate innovation, collaboration, and practical solutions.

Together, we are helping position Calgary as a global hub for climate leadership by connecting ideas, people, and projects that create measurable impact.

For Calgary Climate Week, we are delivering two active transportation/Hub and Spokes tours, including a Bike Tour on Thursday June 4th from 1-3pm, and a Scooter Tour on Friday June 5th, 1-3pm. We are also hosting the following workshop:

Growing Community Resilience:
Tree Equity, Mini-forests & Nature Based Solutions Workshop
Jared Blustein (Calgary Climate Hub), Rob Miller (Calgary Climate Hub)
Friday June 5th, from 10:45 - 11:15

This highly interactive workshop explores how Tree Equity and Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) can strengthen community resilience in the face of climate change. Participants will learn how our city tree canopy impacts heat, air quality, and health outcomes across neighbourhoods, and how community-led solutions such as mini-forests, rain gardens, and pollinator spaces can help address these disparities.
