Memorial Park Library, Meeting Rm 1 (downstairs)
Welcome Climate Campaign Organizers,
Thank you for stepping up and taking on the role of an organizer with our Active Transportation Campaign for 2024/2025. Active Transportation Advocacy is part of the Hub's goals for the coming year and this workshop will be the first of two sessions that will empower you to create and enact this crucial campaign.
Did you know? In 2022, the Hub's advocacy for greater funding for Calgary's active transportation network resulted in an additional $40 Million committed to improving the City's Active Transportation network? Read more here.
In this session, Volunteer Coordinator Daniel will take you through a series of workshop activities that will help you get to know your fellow organizers, define and focus the campaign goals and strategies, frame the problem correctly to focus our efforts, and so much more.
Please note: All Hub members and volunteers are welcome to attend, but this workshop is intended for volunteers who are committing to being a part of this campaign for the coming year.
