From our Friends at Climate Reality

Fellow Climate Advocates,
The first six months of 2020 have dealt us quite the hand.
My sympathies and condolences to those who have lost loved ones and livelihoods. Any crisis has disproportionate impacts on those who are already vulnerable and marginalized, which is why Climate Reality has joined its voice with hundreds of other organizations in drafting and endorsing the Six Principles for a Just Recovery

As part of Climate Reality's contribution to the global effort to #BuildBackBetter, I'm writing to invite you to what is sure to be one of the highlights of this year for the 5000 individuals expected to attend: the first ever global Climate Reality training, taking place online from July 18th to 26th.

If you want to better understand the latest science of the climate crisis, the crisis' inextricable links to social and environmental justice and the inspiring solutions that are gaining momentum in spite of political headwinds, this training is for you.
If you want to broaden your network to include over 21,000 Climate Reality Leaders who have attended a training over the last 13 years and are now leading their cities, schools, companies and countries in taking climate action, this training is for you.
Join us at the global training from July 18 - 26. Deadline: June 25

We're seeking over 600 mentors to ensure each participant's experience is as personal and powerful as possible, so if you're already a Climate Reality Leader and you'd like to mentor others, then click here, because this training is for you too.
I attended the training in Atlanta, Georgia just over a year ago, where the Rev. William Barber II of the Poor People's Movement took the stage to call out systemic injustice in all its forms. It was a powerful moment that I won't soon forget. I'll leave you with the words he left us with: "The right time to do good is right now."
If you're serious about being more than an armchair quarterback in the transition to a sustainable and equitable economy, then take this opportunity to expand your knowledge and your network, because the mouthpieces of the status quo have told us that it's impossible for long enough.

Join us at the global training from July 18 - 26.

Will you come?
