Pokitso'wa'ssko Mini-Forest - Winter Prep work party event

Our mighty mini-forest, known by its Blackfoot name, Pokitso'wa'ssko, is ready to be put to bed for winter. We need your help to conduct some winter preparation work on  the mini-forest at the Calgary Centre for Spiritual Living in SE Calgary.

Join us for a few hours of fun, fulfilling work to keep Pokitso'wa'ssko cozy through the winter months, and to meet and greet with your fellow Climate Hub volunteers.

Work required:

• spreading mulch
• setting up snow fencing
• general maintenance
• please note - work will be conducted on a sloping hillside

What to bring:

• work gloves
• sturdy, non-slip boots or other footwear
• full water bottle
• weather-suitable clothing, jackets, coats etc
