Drawdown Alberta Blitz Day

Drawdown Alberta is hosting a full-day workshop on Alberta-specific climate solutions.

Description and Objectives

On Blitz Day, there will be an opportunity for participants to:

• research climate solutions and share what they have learned through the DAb wiki platform;
• discuss how to connect Alberta communities to climate solutions;
• explore ways to communicate to a wider Alberta audience about climate solutions; and 
• discuss how to have meaningful conversations about climate change and solutions.

No experience is necessary, we will support you through the climate solutions crowd-solving process. Please join from anywhere in Alberta! 

Come for the whole day or drop in for part of the day - participants are welcome to drop in and out of Blitz Day activities based on their availability.

Research Guidance Package

The attached Research Guidance Package provides an overview of the “Climate Solutions Crowd-Solving Research” part of the day. 

Please take time to review this package before Blitz Day - it identifies the structure of research and provides access to important documents and folders.

Participants are welcome to explore and compile research before the event.

Beyond Blitz Day - Share Your Alberta Climate Solutions

Use the Submit Anything! form to:

• submit anything exploring Drawdown Solutions in Alberta! Photos, newspaper articles, art, videos, graphics, and any other forms of information about action related to positive climate change solutions in Alberta are welcome. These submissions may be published to the Drawdown Alberta website, newsletter, and social media.
• identify community organizations, partnerships, groups, businesses or individuals currently working on Drawdown Solutions in Alberta that the Drawdown Alberta Community should know about
