The Election Node is off and running. At the first meeting, we established the ground rules:

  1. The Calgary Climate Hub must remain non-partisan. We cannot support any one candidate or party in any election. We can advocate for public policy that supports climate action.
  2. If a federal election is called, the Election Node will shift focus.

Past activities of the Election Node included:

  • Lawn signs
  • Door knocking
  • Attending election events
  • Candidate questionnaires
  • Hosting candidate debates focussed on climate

To get involved in the Election Node, contact the Volunteer Coordinator for the date of the next meeting.
