Summer’s almost over but we’re not letting it sneak away quietly! Join the Calgary Climate Hub on Friday, August 28 at the gorgeous RiverWalk Plaza in East Village for our Downtown Movin’ & Groovin’ End of Summer Blast: a big outdoor celebration of bikes, music, art, community and one last glorious dose of summer. 

We’re bringing together live music, local artists, spoken word, climate creativity and plenty of good vibes for an evening that’s more party than program. Check out climate and nature-inspired art, discover some cool community projects, meet fellow Calgarians and kick back as the sun goes down. The event will also showcase a new climate zine and some of the creative people helping us imagine a greener, more interesting Calgary.

The End of Summer Blast is FREE and open to everyone, whether you arrive on two wheels, two feet or something in between. It’s the fifth event in our Downtown Movin’ & Groovin’ series supported by the City of Calgary, a year-long experiment in making downtown a little more active, social, colourful and fun.
