Welcome, Stampede Scooter Scavenger Hunters!

We hope you have a super fun time! We start at 10am and end between 12 and 1230pm (but the scooter is yours until 1pm!)

We start AND finish the hunt at City Hall

Here's how the event works:

1) Get your Bird E-Scooter:

• you must access the Bird App via your mobile device
• you must connect either credit or debit to the app but YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED for this event!
• Open the app on your device, click the menu in the top left corner (looks like a small square with 3 horizontal lines in it), navigate to ACCOUNT, scroll down to WALLET and select PROMOS. In the top field where it says 'add promo code'  use "stampedehub" (no capital letters, no spaces, no quotation marks).  
• scan the QR code on your e-scooter to unlock it and when it prompts you for 
• you are GOOD TO GO (have fun and BE SAFE)
• one person per scooter
• riders must be 18 years of age

PLEASE NOTE: In Calgary, you must ride e-scooters on bike lanes, pathways and empty sidewalks. Riding is illegal on busy roadways or busy transit platforms. Helmets are highly recommended. Use all the care and consideration you would use when <<< safely >>> riding a bicycle and please be super considerate to other pathway users, pedestrians etc.

2) The Scavenger Hunt

• you will be given a hunt checklist and a pen when you pick up your scooter in front of City Hall. Cross off stuff as you visit, do, find and acquire them! 

• whenever possible share/tag a photo, a selfie or "scooter selfie" (shot of your scooter with the item or location) to either the Hub's social networks or email them to [email protected] ! 

3) Locations

• you can go anywhere in the downtown in your hunt but there are certain locations that you'll want to hit up if you want to get the most out of the morning

And that's pretty much it, other than bring your checklist back to city hall for noon and get your swag bag (and there may even be a prize or two!)
