2026 is projected to be one of Canada's hottest years. This Community Climate Conversation explores the real impacts of extreme heat in our city and communities, and how to protect ourselves and our neighbours during rising temperatures. We will hear from community leaders and organizers on the consequences of extreme heat on housing, health, and workers, and how communities can support action on heat.
All are welcome to join us for this rich discussion – no experience or previous knowledge required. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Nicholls Family Library is located directly above the Westbrook LRT station. We will be meeting in the Program Room.
Hope to see you there!
