Faith, Climate & Conversation: Resources for talking about climate with faith communities

Are you a member of a faith community? Do you wonder how you can have meaningful conversations about climate change in the context of faith?

Join us for a meet & greet with representatives from KAIROS, For the Love of Creation, Faith & the Common Good, Green Exodus, the Calgary Alliance for the Common Good and the Calgary Climate Hub as we share tools and strategies for deeper dialogue.

Shannon Neufeldt, KAIROS Member Relations and Network Coordinator, works with churches and grassroots groups across Canada, animating all areas of KAIROS programs. She is happy to answer questions about KAIROS work in the areas of migrant justice, Indigenous rights, gender justice and ecological justice. She is particularly excited to share about some growing collaborations in the now two-year-old faith-based climate justice initiative, For the Love of Creation, with its Faithful Climate Conversations resource and exploration of whether churches across Canada want to endorse the global Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty and to share news about a global partner and Indigenous in-person delegation to the United Nations climate conference, COP27.

This event is part of the Climate Organizer Project, made possible by a grant from Calgary Foundation

Thank you to the Hub's partners & sponsors:
