Director-at-large

Gary has a history of attending and organizing climate protests, as well as an exhaustive history of volunteering to assist with computers, help teach coding to kids, and fundraise for nonprofits. Gary's extensive volunteer experience stems from a passion for education and doing what needs to be done, and Gary understands that with regard to the climate crisis, there's a lot more that needs to be said, and a lot more that needs to be done.

Gary is also a library worker, passionate about helping people from all walks of life get access to resources they want and need. Dedicated to car-free living, Gary is an avid enthusiast of cycling, public transportation, and walkable urbanism.

As a board member of the Calgary Climate Hub, Gary hopes to focus on what we as a society can do to fight back, and ensure the voices of those most affected are respected in the process.
