Calling all Active Transportation enthusiasts - Hub and Spokes Group Ride is BACK, BABY!

That's right, it's that time again! Come one and all to our Hub & Spokes Group Ride 2024, taking place on July 20th, 2024 from 10am.

Join us for this celebration of active transportation where we guide our group of riders around sections of Calgary's 5A network. We'll help you get more experience with urban cycling (or whatever vehicle you are using). We'll help you to recognize common pitfalls, pain points and challenges of active transportation in Calgary while also celebrating the parts of our cycling infrastructure that we love!

Experience first hand the real value in a city’s active transportation network, learn about barriers and challenges to these systems (both physical and political) as well as how to describe its importance to friends, voters and city council members. Check out our Twitter Thread from 2022!

Hub and Spokes takes place on Saturday July 20th from 10:00am to ~12:30pm, starting outside CommunityWise.

Come for the ride and stay for the good company. We’ll see you on the bike paths!
