Our Intergenerational Climate Cafes are a monthly gathering that invite community members from across generations to form connections and deepen their understanding of the climate crisis through shared discussions.

Co-hosted by the Climate Justice Collective and Eco-Elders on the first Monday of the month, each gathering focuses on a different topic.

This month, our topic will be all about municipal advocacy. What does it mean to engage in municipal advocacy? What can we achieve when we engage? How has the Calgary Climate Hub's Calgary Tree Equity campaign achieved success through municipal advocacy? Join us for a a lovely discussion hosted by Rob Miller, and letter writing activity to your ward's councillor on a climate justice issue important to you.

All are welcome – no climate experience necessary, just a willingness to listen and learn from one another! A gift card will be available behind the counter for drinks and snacks, on us :)
