Joe is an emergency physician practicing at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary.  He was one of the key organizers for both the Alberta and Canadian Coal Phase Outs, the co-founder of Masks4Canada, and is the president of the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment.
