Going beyond the current mainstream understanding to a truly just transition requires addressing existing inequalities among workers, and incorporating social equity from the beginning.

We will look at Parkland Institute’s previous work on just transition issues, including at the intersection with gender, and some emerging stuff on the green new deal (for Canada).
