The generous support of Calgary Foundation, through the partnership of the Climate Reality Project Canada have enabled the Calgary Climate Hub to hire a contractor for one year to run our Volunteer Program Enhancement Project. We reviewed over 125 applications, and were impressed with the high calibre of candidates.

We are pleased to announce that our new Volunteer Coordinator is Kurt Archer.

Kurt brings a wealth of experience in the non-profit sector and a strong skill set. Among other things, he has served as Chair and Curator of TEDxYYC, worked with the Alberta Real Estate Foundation, Pembina Institute, and as VP of AIESEC in Pakistan. He has coached non-profits and even started two environmental volunteer-driven organizations.

"I look forward to continuing to build on the tremendous groundwork already established and helping grow the participation and voice of the Calgary Climate Hub,“ says Archer.

You can contact him at [email protected]

Please join us in welcoming Kurt to the Hub!
