October 1st - Day of Action - Join us
October 1st is Canada’s National Seniors Day. Seniors across Canada are mobilizing to bring attention to the worsening climate emergency, which is still largely ignored by our governments. Seniors for Climate is a project of six climate organizations, mobilizing seniors across Canada to create a livable future. Along with our children and grandchildren, nieces and nephews, we face a global climate emergency. We need to come together to lead faster and better climate action, because Later is Too Late!
Come join other Calgary Seniors concerned about the climate crisis:
Where: Calgary City Hall Plaza (800 Macleod Trail SE)
When: October 1st, from 11AM–2PM (1-hour program starts at Noon)
What: A Climate Expo, information on ways you can take action, fun activities, speakers, music, and more!
Together we have power and a strong voice—let’s use it!
