Seniors Program Lead & Community Connector

Sophie Burns (she/her) is happy to bring her love of people and land to the Hub. In her role, Sophie will be bringing people together to take action for climate through building webs of community and care. Through her facilitation work over the last 20 years, she has hoped to encourage earth-loving approaches towards social and climate justice in many different communities and groups.

Sophie loves mountains, rivers, and horses, and has been known to play her fiddle to sheep! Originally from the UK and grateful to be living here in Calgary, she looks forward to nurturing networks of collective care that are both local and international.
