Community Connector & Seniors Program Lead

Sophie Burns (she/her) is excited to bring her love of people and land to the Hub. In her role as Community Connector, Sophie will be bringing people together to take action for climate through building webs of community and care. Her facilitation work supports earth-loving approaches towards social and climate justice.

Sophie loves mountains, rivers, and horses, and has been known to play her fiddle to sheep! She is from the UK and looks forward to building bridges of collective care that are both local and international. 

This position was made possible thanks to a generous two-year staffing grant from the Community Development Learning Initiative! And Sophie will take on supporting our Eco Elders as Seniors Program Lead through the New Horizons Grant.
