The Alberta Council for Environmental Education are hosting
What should Alberta students learn about energy?
What’s this about?
We need to depolarize the energy conversation in Alberta - and education is our best strategic tool to do this.
This initiative seeks to turn this around. Join ACEE and energy professionals to network, collaborate and discuss the question: ‘What should Alberta K-12 students learn about energy?’ We’ll capture what we hear from you, and create recommendations for Alberta Education, to help them craft new curriculum - so that your ideas will find their way into Alberta classrooms.
To do this we’ll host a series of workshops in Calgary and Edmonton, bringing together energy and education professionals to discuss what Alberta students should learn about energy - as well as environment, and climate.
We are inviting energy stakeholders, municipalities, school boards, energy educators and key Alberta Ministries (Energy. Environment. Education) to be a part of the conversation.
Time: 11:30am - 2:00pm
City of Calgary Water Services Building,
Bow River Rooms
