The Co-Chair oversees the operations of the Communications team in accordance with the Terms of Reference, the Mission, Vision and Values of the Calgary Climate Hub. Specific tasks will include managing volunteers and delegating tasks, sharing key messages/information and ensuring they are distributed to the Hub and/or public in a timely manner, and preparing for and officiating meetings. This role will work in coordination with the other Co-Chair (governance) to ensure the Communications team is operated efficiently and is structured properly.

Qualifications:
Must be a member in good standing, excellent time management, leadership skills (managing people), background in communications and social media management (asset), developing communications plans (asset), familiarity with Hootsuite (asset), familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva (asset).

Time Commitment: 

  • 2-4 hours per week.
