Move together. Celebrate downtown!

Heads up Hub friends! We're very excited to announce a brand new super fun event series for throughout the rest of 2025 and 2026. It's Downtown Movin' and Groovin'!

Downtown Movin’ & Groovin’ (DMG) is a free, all-ages event series that brings Calgarians together to celebrate micromobility, healthy living and vibrant downtown public spaces, with support the City of Calgary. DMG leverages existing Hub infrastructure, volunteers and networks as well as our proven ability to deliver on public micromobility events for going on 5 years now. Through fun, interactive rides and placemaking activations, this series highlights Calgary’s Active Transportation Network while supporting local businesses and building community. It’s where movement meets joy, right in the heart of downtown.

In addition to being a lot of fun, celebrating our downtown and the many new modes of getting around, with multiple stops or stations along the active transportation network each event will have at least one Indigenous learning session, an innovative “Imagineering” exercise, a music station and more!

Stay tuned for more details on these great events throughout 2025 and 2026!

If you're interested in planning or volunteering for these events we'd love to have you onboard, reach out to Talynn at [email protected]
