At the Calgary Climate Hub, every day is Earth Day, but April 22 is a time to show Mother Earth some extra love. Here are some things happening with our partners, and some ideas of things you can do at home:

Speak Up for Climate Action: Tell Your Councillor You Support ENMAX Going to Net-Zero

Write to your your City Councillor to let them know that you support urgent action on climate change. As we move towards electrifying everything from transportation to how we heat our homes, it is critical that our sources of electricity are net-zero, either through no-carbon generation, offsets, or carbon capture and storage. As ENMAX is fully owned by The City, a net-zero pledge would have a real impact on Calgary's greenhouse gas emissions and send the message that we are serious about our climate goals.

You can send a message to all councillors by emailing [email protected], or use this form to email your own councillor.  You can also tweet using the hashtag #yyccc.
