A fun time was had by all at this weekend's Hallowheelin' event. Here part of the group is assembled in front of Deane House, pound for pound the most haunted location in all of Calgary (we spotted no ghosts except amongst our costumed attendees). Good times, great day, AWESOME people!

It was a cool but not cold day with a good turnout and great vibes!
Special thanks to our new friends at Social Beer Haus right on Calgary's *very* bike-friendly Stephen Ave for being one of our first ever Trick or Treat Venues (& post event meal & drink spot). What a GREAT place to meet a friend, catch a game or just chill out with a bevy!

Shout out to our other new friends also conveniently located on the very bike-friendly Stephen Ave, delicious hot chocolate courtesy of Chocolate Lab was just thing for a slightly chilly morning of Hallowheelin' fun!

Another special thanks to our final Trick or Treat Venue from Hallowheelin2025: Velet Bike and Ski Cafe, just one block off the 12th Ave bike lanes! A very community-minded place where you can get your bike OR skis tuned up OR you can just hang out in a really cool space & enjoy a coffee!

We really want to thank one of our GREAT event partners Youth En Route, who showed up in force to help us deliver this fun event to Calgarians. They do INCREDIBLE work and have a big bike event coming up this June so STAY TUNED!

We want to thank our longtime friends Bike Calgary for helping out on Hallowheelin' too & we're going to return the favour for their great big super-fun Winter Bike Day on Saturday February 14, 2026
And what about our GREAT Hallowheelin event partners at Sustainable Calgary for making this cool stop on our ride, with a quiz, prizes, yummy kombucha & snacks & LOTSA PUMPKINS at Connaught Open Street? The BEST.

(see the Instagram video here)
And we closed out our first ever Hallowheelin event with some Indigenous knowledge and original music from our good friend Curt Young. Check him out wherever you get your music!

We're also SO grateful to our longtime partners at #Gasonic for helping out on this event and many others AS WELL AS for being Calgary's pure #IndoorAirQuality advisor. They want what we want and what YOU want too: Calgarians breathing CLEAN AIR

You can learn more about the GREAT work Gasonic does at their website: https://gasonic.com/
And of course none of this would be possible without support from the #DowntownInMotion grant from the #CityOfCalgary. Thanks so much for helping us expose Calgarians to the truly GREAT downtown #ActiveTransportationNetwork. Let's keep making downtown #YYC a FUN place to spend time in!

We had an excellent time and we couldn't have done it without these great partners!
Beyond that, more events are coming in 2026 and you can be a part of them!
See you soon!
