Answer
We are searching for Co-Chairs for a new Membership Engagement Node, supported by our Climate Organizer. This initiative will be based on Community Organizing principles: a set of proven strategies for empowering and engaging community members to influence policies and decision makers, including long term strategies to strengthen the organization and their decision influencing powers within the municipal government. There is free upcoming training training: Foundations for Community Organizing - Calgary Alliance for the Common Good (calgarycommongood.org).
Time commitment 5-8 hrs/month, looking for individual members who want to gain leadership skills and build relationships to strengthen the Hub.
