Eco-Elders for Climate Action are supporting Seniors For Climate!

Volunteers with the Eco-Elders for Climate Action (EECA) are organizing a special event in Calgary on Senior's Day, October 1st, 2024. This is part of a nation wide initiative organized by Seniors For Climate. This is a great opportunity for EECA to join seniors across Canada to raise awareness and support the Seniors For Climate initiative:

  • Seniors For Climate (SfC) are deeply alarmed by the climate crisis. Seniors represent one in four Canadians —  we have outsized political, economic and social power. And we vote!
  • SfC's goal is to build a Canada-wide community of seniors that want to help create a liveable future. Seniors have a major role to play and we have motive, commitment and opportunity.
  • Along with our children and grandchildren, we face a climate emergency. We need faster and better climate action. Later Is Too Late!
